Pat 'Riot' Whitaker has spent over four decades as a fan consumed with an obsession for Rock and Metal music. That passion was ignited with 70's classic rock at first, then fueled forward by the 80's punk, metal and hardcore music, death metal of the 90s and all aspects of the stoner / alternative underground in the years since. Thousands of bands seen, countless friends and contacts made, his random musical knowledge seems inhuman. After founding Metal Nexus, he eventually exited it to pursue his fanaticism currently at Riff Relevant (site) and Kill Your Radio (radio show) and is stoked to now guest contribute alongside one of his own musical icons, Gideon Smith, here at Cosmic Rock.
