Florida’s own Mary Everhart recently released a new live cd entitled “Live and Kickin”.

“I recorded the CD unbeknownst to me, in Tallahassee, FL at the Bradfordville Blues Club. We were playing a benefit which was in the name of our friend and great blues artist, Pat Ramsey and, this was the 9th one. It is a wonderful thing some folks do every year putting it all together and all proceeds of the day go to Big Bend Hospice. I was one of many bands that played that day and really had a lot of fun. I put together a fun set of original music. My band members are, Paxton St. John on lead guitar, Melvin Clemans on Bass, RL Rainwater on lap steel, Brett Crook on drums and, of course me on rhythm guitar and vocals. Keith Renfroe from PLR Audio in Tallahassee, was running sound that day and, Walter Potter at the club was doing live recordings. I decided to give it to my mastering guy, Marlon Kempmann, Doctor Memory in Canada, after we heard it and we decided to release it in Dec. of 2017.”

In other news Mary added “A couple months ago I was asked if I'd be a member in a Florida Blues Allstars Band for a show at the Monticello Opera House in Monticello Fl. on March 10th so, that's what I'm working on now. It is going to be a lot of fun I think. I have never played with any of these guys before but, each are very talented musicians and I'm looking forward to it. I have wanted to do some new things musically and this definitely fills the I'm honored I was asked to be a part of it.”

Here a couple links to videos from that day.
